If you read my previous blog posts, I assume you have realised that I am not going to tell you what to wear and how to apply your liquid eyeliner. So, if that's the kind of blog you are interested in, you will be terribly disappointed. If you are still here, it's time to get to know each other
My full name is Ksenija Pesic, and I am not a slave to my "artistic" name. It's just that it's easier for people to remember your name when they can actually pronounce it, and when it's cacthy
The first question people usually ask in interviews is how I become a model. And I often see so many models replying to this one "I became a model by accident" and it really makes no sense. An opportunity to start modeling might have occured by accident, but you become a model by choice. So did I. I decided, when opportunity presented itself, that I wanted to do it. I have been in front of a camera for five years now, but I have only recently started working with designers and product brands, so I am still learning all the secrets of this job. I have to say that I really have a great fan base, and their feedback is helping me a lot to improve and stay motivated, so thank you guys! I don't consider myself a facebook/instagram celebrity and I never will. Sure, it's nice to get a lot of attention and compliments, but that is not why I do this. I get a lot of questions every day by people who follow my work, and I will try to answer a couple of those which I get the most. I am 27, happily married and I have 5 furry feline children which I adore. I am a coffee, sugar, and nicotine addict
I try to speak my mind as much as I can. I am a writer, and hopefully one day people from all over the world will be able to read my books. So, as you can see, being a goth does not define me, but it is a part of me that I cherish and want to share with you. That is why I became a model. To represent proudly our rich and interesting culture and style. I would glady work with any designer or brand, no matter how big or small, popular or not, to try to give life to their goth creations. But there is a darker, and sometimes even cruel side of this job, and that mostly inspires me to write this blog. So I can show fellow models, those who are just starting and those who have been around long enough alike, that they are not alone and that there is someone who has your back, even if it was only in the form of a comforting word or pissed-off rant that will make you smile.
